Mindfulness For You

Vin Harris, one of our founding Trustees, has studied and practiced meditation for 50 years under the guidance of many great Tibetan Buddhist Masters. His work is inspired by the example of his main teacher Akong Rinpoche who showed him that it is not necessary to escape from the world and that spiritual values can find expression through practical action. It was Vin’s success as an entrepreneur that laid the foundations for establishing the Hart Knowe Trust.

People particularly appreciate Vin’s unique ability to communicate the subtle meaning and purpose of meditation practice in everyday language. As well as being a trusted friend and mentor to mindfulness teachers and practitioners, he develops and teaches innovative mindfulness training programmes.
